  1. Student with Disabilities Form
    • Da Capo Web Development LLC does not manage anything with regard to the Student with a Disability or Special Needs Form. Please reach out to the festival chairperson or zone representative for more information regarding the procedure with obtaining and submitting this form.
    • Your zone representative’s email address is: zone#@nyssma.org (ie. [email protected] or [email protected])
    • Your festival chairperson’s email address can be found on your Da Capo Music Festivals homepage below the title of each festival in your zone.
  2. NYSSMA Majors Festivals
    • Da Capo Web Development LLC does not manage anything with regard to the NYSSMA Major Organization festivals. Historically, this registration portal opens in early January each year. More information is available in the center section of the https://www.nyssma.org website.

  4. NYSSMA Registration Forms and Letters for Parents
    • There is no standard ‘NYSSMA Registration Form’ that is handed out to parents. Most school districts send a letter telling parents about the benefits of participating in an adjudication festival such as NYSSMA. Sometimes, a form includes notification that students must bring two original copies of the music to the adjudication and a price list for the various adjudication costs.
    • A district-generated form might include: Name, Grade, Email, Level, Instrument, Composition, Composer, Arranger, NYSSMA Manual Page Number, Accompanist, Time Preference, Special Requests
    • These are all of the questions a teacher is expected to type in to the Da Capo Music Festivals (NYSSMA Registration) portal.
  5. NYSSMA All-State Form
    • In addition to registering a student on the registration platform (DaCapoMusicFestivals.com), teachers must also register a student on the https://www.nyssmaallstate.org/login all state registration portal. This must take place at least six weeks before the audition festival takes place.
  6. Un-Canceling a student
    • Only a Festival Chairperson can uncancel a registration.
    • Chairpeople can view the help document called ‘Un-Cancel’ in the Administration folder.
